I use all three of those programs to keep clean. The MS one is basically just Giant's client, as well as spysweeper.

It's nice.

I remember hearing about some controversy where MSN was accepting money from some spyware/adware companies to skip over their software.

Same with Lavasoft for their AdAware SE.

Hopefully they're not the same companies :/.

There isn't one that does everything you need to run a few of them:

Spybot S&D
Microsoft anti-spyware beta

Crap Cleaner also works, but you'd need to set it up properly so it doesn't delete your temp files or Firefox cookies.

This is pretty much the reccomended trio. It's what I run.

Spyware doctor. 100% better than all 3 of those. I have run all 3 of those programs on systems and then run Spyware Doctor and found hundreds of objects.
