Some Flash not working in FF

for some reason, things like the ads that come up when you goto Fileplanet, or Google Videos, don't work.
The Quicktime logo with come up for a couple seconds, then it will become faded and have a question mark over it.
It's really annoying, since I can't see any good stuff without using IE, and half the time that doesn't even work.
So how can I fix this?

Not sure, I've got some of those problems myself.

I have a plugin for my FF installed called IE view, whenever there's a link I knew or guess won't display right on FF, I right click and select "view in IE", and whee, it pops up in Internet Explorer.

Not a real answer, but it's a way around.
